Nice to meet you!
Finding a church home can be hard, but we want to make it easy. Take a look around to learn a little about who we are. Whether you've already visited, or you're just kicking the tires from home—we're glad you're here.Get to Knows Us
Our Vision
We believe that God is using us to lead families in Fredericksburg and beyond into victory in life through faith in Jesus Christ.
Our Beliefs
We keep in mind three principles. In essential beliefs, we have unity. In nonessential beliefs, we have liberty. In all our beliefs, we show love.
Our Priorities
-
We help people to understand that God is a good God.
-
We are passionate about our worship.
-
We want a love for Jesus to start early.
-
We want Him involved in every aspect of our lives.
It is not the fear of being deceived that will keep you from being deceived. It is the love of God, and the love of the Truth, that will keep you from being deceived. Regardless of how it feels, looks, or how inconvenient it may be, we must be lovers of the Truth!
– Pastor Michael Burdick
Meet Our Pastors
At age 19, Pastor Michael Burdick received a Divine call into the ministry. He started to prepare for the work that God called him to by attending Rhema Bible Training College. After graduating in 1990, Michael began his ministry on the mission field in Germany and Austria.
In 1992 he returned home and married Christine. After they were married, Christine also attended Rhema. Michael and Christine have three beautiful daughters, Kathleen, Madeline, and Alexandra. The girls, too, have a passion to share the love of Jesus with the world.
In January of 2006, the Burdicks moved to Fredericksburg, TX, where Michael became the senior pastor of Victory Fellowship. Pastors Michael and Christine love to see people grow spiritually, actualize their gifts, and pursue what God has called them to do.
Plan Your Visit
Here’s some helpful info to get you started.
Service Times:
Victory Fellowship meets together Sundays at 10 AM and Wednesdays at 7 PM.
We also have Prayer every Wednesday evening from 5:45-6:45.
What Can I Expect?
How Long Is A Service?
In total, a service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the Victory Fellowship band leading the church in music. Song lyrics are projected onto the screen so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. After the music portion of the service is complete, our pastor will share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus.
What’s the culture like at Victory Fellowship?
Sundays at Victory are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.
What about my kids?
We believe that kids should have a blast at church learning about Jesus every single week – and at Victory, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Victory Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to give yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in. Victory Kids is offered at every service for kids aged infant through Grade 8.
